Simms Street, east side from 8th Avenue to Colfax Avenue.
Multiple issue exist with this route. The first is at 8th Ave where the button for the crosswalk signal is missing. Based on the condition of the pole it has been damaged for a while.

Crossing the street the rough sidewalk begins. Numerous driveways intersect the path and uneven concrete expansion joints are common. The path passes through landscaping of large broken rocks, that represent a serious riding hazard to any cyclist that strays to the edge of the path.
As the path continues north of 12th Avenue the riding becomes more difficult. The path disappears entirely at Pleasant Avenue turning to loose gravel when dry and mud when wet. A significant bump is found where the gravel turns to concrete when passing over Lakewood Gulch. The transition is frequently hidden by an overgrown volunteer tree that mostly blocks the path. Turning back to concrete at 13th Ave the path continues the rough uneven surface until Colfax,
At Colfax, the path ends entirely, not in a graceful manner, but in a large hole that forces the rider or pedestrian into traffic to reach the marked bike lane.
Ride Score: 3/10 Slightly better than riding in traffic, but only just a little. There is a better path on the west side of Simms.
Walk Score 5/10 A sidewalk mostly exists.
Recommendation: Complete the sidewalk so it is continuous, removing the gravel/dirt sections. Trim any excess foliage that is blocking the path. Repair the signal button at 8th Ave. Repair the pothole at the beginning of the bike lane north of Colfax. Remove the large and jagged rock landscaping and replace with smother less dangerous material.
Overall Grade: D-
